The film was made on a budget of 6 Cr and was a huge hit at the box office. The latest news on the film is that one of the most passionate filmmaker and producer Karan Johar is in plans to remake the film in Hindi. KJo in one of his media interaction has said that he had recently watched the film and was impressed with the content of the film. He also said that he wants to remake the film in Bollywood with more technical values and now, the makers of the film are going to bag a decent price for the remake rights. Adivi Sesh had co-written the story of the film along with Abburi Ravi while Sashi Kiran Tikka handled the megaphone.
Sobhita Dhulipala the title holder of Femina Miss India in 2013 who had made her acting debut with the Bollywood film Raman Raghav 2.0 had made her debut to Tollywood film industry with this film.
